A Space Created Just For Her

Dear Eastern Iowa FCA Family,

"Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life." — John 14:6

Launching something new often brings both anticipation and uncertainty. But when God goes before it, something beautiful begins to unfold.

That is exactly what happened with THE Huddle for Women hometown experience.

What started as a simple invitation became a sacred space. A space where women could gather, slow down, and enter into the presence of the Lord. A space to be reminded that they are seen, heard, valued, and deeply loved by Him.

Throughout the day, women lifted their voices in worship, listened to stories of God’s faithfulness, and spent time in His Word. They shared meals, conversations, and moments of connection that pointed them back to Jesus.

The atmosphere was filled with reverence, joy, and rest. Even in the middle of busy and often overwhelming seasons, this was a reminder that God is our refuge.

And the impact was clear.

Many women shared that the day felt like a gift of rest they did not realize they needed. Others expressed a deep sense of belonging, like they had finally found a place to be known in community. Several spoke about how the testimonies strengthened their faith and reminded them of God’s faithfulness in their own lives.

While the event itself may be over, it feels like something is just beginning.

A community of women, united in faith.

Walking closely with Jesus.

This is the heart of FCA. Creating spaces where people can encounter Christ and be transformed by His love.
